2016 FRQ Review

This review covered strategies for answering the two question types that will be covered on the APES 2020 exam: posing a solution to an environmental problem and designing an investigation. FRQ task verbs were defined and used as criteria for writing a concise, complete, accurate and descriptive response to earn full points. Four example responses were analyzed for their completeness and participants practiced draft responses which were then compared to the official released scoring guidelines for 2016, 2003, and 1999 items.
